Through our social and emotional learning programs, Christchurch is committed to the multifaceted approach to physical and psychological health of the members of our community—to the wellness of their whole person.
Helping students establish positive self-images, create meaningful and mutual relationships with others, and develop active and healthy lifestyles for long-term health are some of the ways Christchurch sees social and emotional health as a priority.
Our team of experts includes our fully-staffed Health Services Office, deans, Mental Health Counseling Services, chaplain, and our Diversity, Equity, and Belonging professionals. The circle of support expands to include advisors, learning support staff, coaches and dorm parents so that the well-being of our students is supported across the entire school community.
Health and Wellness at Christchurch takes many forms from Life Skills to our Health Services Office to our advisory program. Our expert counselors, chaplain, and the whole social and emotional learning team work seamlessly together to help every student navigate the demands of high school and the process of becoming healthy and confident adults.
