Advisory

Every Christchurch student, whether they live on campus or at home, is part of a small advisory group, led by a faculty or staff member.

Christchurch assigns students to an advisory group as soon as they enroll, ensuring that every new student can quickly connect with a small group of peers from the first day of school. Advisories regularly share meals and sit together at assemblies, maintaining a connection through all four years at Christchurch.

Advisory group members help one another answer questions, solve problems, and offer peer-to-peer advice.

The faculty advisor, meanwhile, offers guidance that helps address small issues before they become large ones, and also holds students accountable for everything from schoolwork to making good social choices. Above all, the advisor also serves as a student's advocate. no matter what the circumstances, a Christchurch student always has a faculty advocate by their side.
