ASSISTANT VARSITY SOCCER COACH

Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA) seeks to hire qualified Assistant Soccer Coaches for the 2024 fall season and to also lead our indoor Futsal teams during the winter season. This is a part time, paid position. Christchurch School competes in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) and over the past few years has been a top team in VISAA. As a boarding school, our students come from all over the country and world and the teams are highly diversified—boarding and day students, domestic and international. On average, a team will have 10 different countries represented.

Christchurch School inspires and guides each student’s unique journey to self-confidence, purpose, and identity. Within a caring, structured community, students discover their infinite value and develop the skills to become compassionate, successful, and engaged global citizens. The athletic program, as part of our co-curricular programming, offers students the opportunity to experience the multiple benefits of athletic competition. We believe that athletics teach meaningful life lessons about sportsmanship, competitiveness, resiliency, camaraderie, and above all, integrity. We seek candidates that are committed to these values.  We expect students and coaches to bring the best of themselves to practice and games every day.

Practices are M-F, 3:45 - 5:45 PM. Varsity Soccer’s preseason starts August 15th. Must be able to drive student-athletes to games in school vehicles. Most Futsal games take place at the WISC (Williamsburg, VA) on the weekends during the winter season.
