At Christchurch School, we combine 100 years of tradition and community with a dynamic and innovative approach to learning. Taken together, this is the unique life-changing "Christchurch Experience." Unfortunately, though, an affordable level of tuition does not fully cover the costs of educating today's students. This is the reason that one of our most deeply cherished traditions is that of giving back to the school.
Christchurch has been significantly strengthened by extraordinary support from its alumni, parents, and friends. Relying on this support, the school is able to confidently lean hard into its Second Century while continuing to provide its transformational experience. There are a number of different ways to give, as well as funds towards which you can direct your donation. These include, but are not limited to, the following:
MATCHING GIFTS. Through matching gift programs, many companies allow employees the opportunity to multiply the impact of their personal contributions. If your company sponsors a matching gift program, you can easily increase the impact your gift will have on students, faculty, and programs at Christchurch School. Most participating companies will match employee gifts dollar for dollar. Some will even double—or triple—match a gift.
ENDOWMENT GIVING. Devoted and generous alumni, parents, and friends have established endowed funds which provide permanent income to the school. Under prudent management, these resources support immediate priorities and long term goals. This allows Christchurch to focus on what it does best - meeting each child where they are, and helping to guide them on a path toward becoming a compassionate, engaged, and successful global citizen.
PLANNED GIVING. Friends of the school who have included Christchurch in their estate plans automatically become members of the Christchurch School Society. These planned gifts have been integral to the growth and success of Christchurch School. These planned gifts, whether directed toward specific priorities such as tuition assistance and faculty support, or given without restriction, provide a firm financial foundation upon which the school is built. Put simply, planned giving helps to ensure that Christchurch can continue to have the resources it needs to prepare students for success in a fast-paced and ever-changing world.
INTERNATIONAL GIVING. Christchurch is both fortunate and deeply grateful that many of its international alumni, parents, and friends continue to support the school. Understanding the challenges that can arise with international giving, Christchurch strives to make this process as easy and simple as possible. International giving - whether it be to the Annual Fund, an endowment, a campaign, or as a planned gift - plays an important role in the continued health and success of Christchurch in preparing its students from all over the world for success.
