"We are proud of you and joyful for you ... Godspeed, Class of 2006!" John E. Byers, Headmaster
In true Christchurch fashion, the school's 84th Commencement Ceremony was personal and poignant. In his remarks to the Class of 2006, Headmaster Jeb Byers singled out the graduates, noting the specific and remarkable gifts that each brought to our community, and thanking each by name. Said one parent, "it's remarkable that a head of school knows so much about my child. And that's how it's been from day one with Mr. Byers, the faculty, the staff ... and it's made all the difference."

Dear Mom and Dad ... I LOVE SUMMER CAMPS ON THE RIVER!
It's been a terrific four weeks of fun and sun for the Christchurch summer campers. They've had a grand time sailing, rowing, crabbing, fishing, seining, kayaking, canoeing, socializing, dancing, making s'mores, Slip 'n Sliding, eating ice cream, and more! Some honed their athletic skills at Coach Waite's Baseball Camp or Tidewater Football Camp.
Don't miss out on all the fun next year! Contact camp director Dan Hayes.

Meet Lacrosse Coach TODD BOWARD
New lacrosse coach Todd Boward may not have moved to campus yet, but he's already making a tremendous impact on the Christchurch lacrosse program. Coach Boward met with Seahorse lacrosse players in the spring to answer questions and to pass out helpful information about summer camps and workouts ... this seaHORSE is chomping at the bit to get the ball rolling ... be sure to check out his website! MORE GREAT KIDS FOR THE CHRISTCHURCH FAMILY!
The folks in the Christchurch Admission Office are all smiles these days. Why? Because they're busy putting final touches on the 2006-07 school year, and enrollment is nearly sealed. Assistant Head for Admission and Marketing Nancy Nolan notes, "it's another exceptional group of students from a variety of states and countries, including plenty of siblings and legacies. I predict it's going to be another great year at Christchurch!"
