SUPER SEAHORSES!
What a fall we're having here at CCS! The state rankings are out, and we make the cut! Our volleyball team checks in at #5 in the Division III poll, the soccer team appears at #7 in the Division I poll, and the football team ranks #3 in the Division II state poll. Our rowers are training with the new wakeless launch and practice barge while fielding phone calls from interested college coaches. The field hockey team took third place in the Wakefield School Columbus Cup Tournament, and the sailors traveled to New York for the prestigious MidAtlantic States Regional Invitational Regatta. Yes indeed, it is mighty fine to be a Seahorse.

Christchurch Tradition -
Seniors to Shrine Mont

Everyone loves tradition, and Christchurch kids are no different. One tradition that the students look forward to throughout their Christchurch career is the senior trip to Shrine Mont. Nestled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley at Orkney Springs, Shrine Mont has been the retreat center for the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia since the 1920s. It is "a place where people are more important than things." While there each fall, the seniors swim, hike, share stories (and s'mores!) around the campfire, and enjoy home-style cooking in the Southern tradition.
