OYSTER & DUCK ROAST
11/30/2007

“What a beautiful day, you could not have ordered a nicer day,” said Tex St. Clair49. The weather was perfect for one of the most well-attended Oyster & Duck Roasts in recent years. The new location was fantastic, the food was as excellent as ever, and the addition of brisket to the menu was a real hit.

Plans are already underway for 2008, so mark your calendar for Sunday, November 23, 2008, from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. Same location, same bat time, same bat channel and most importantly, we will celebrate the 35th annual "probably never to be repeated" Christchurch Oyster & Duck Roast.

Mr. Davies on Headmaster's Hill
WELCOME BACK!
11/30/2007
We were delighted when Mr. John ”Pete” Davies 37 of Culpeper, VA came to campus this fall with his son, Lea. Mr. Davies shared stories and anecdotes with Assistant Headmaster for Development Gerry Grim, and enjoyed meeting the students who were, in turn, thrilled to meet him.

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon on November 3, when Christchurch School Seahorses returned to campus from years and miles away for the annual Alumnae vs. Varsity Field Hockey Reunion. Courtney Faudree '05, Grace Shroeder '07, Kelsey Robusto '07, Virginia Everett '02, Laura Lang '01, Meredith Adkins '00, Lindsay Adkins '97, Marcie Soucek '00, Katie Shaut '00, and Jessica Roebuck '02 made a terrific showing for the alumnae. A great time was had by all. The Varsity won, 1-0 in sudden death strokes.
